On July 19, 2024, a significant event was celebrated at Baumann Automation: Company founder Dr Georg Baumann handed over the company management to his son Oskar Baumann after 40 years. Oskar expands the management team, which already includes Karl Ebnet, Stefan Rauch and Alexander Dillinger. During a formal ceremony, prominent guests such as Bavaria's Finance Minister Albert Füracker and Amberg's Lord Mayor Michael Cerny honoured Dr Baumann's outstanding achievements and the cross-generational success of the family business.

At the end of the ceremony, the entire Baumann family took part in a group interview. Dr Baumann expressed pride in his son and the company. Oskar Baumann emphasized that he wanted to maintain the values of the company and lead it into the future.

On the same day, the company's 40th anniversary was celebrated with a ‘Back to the 80s’ party, attended by around 1,800 guests including employees and their families. With live music, culinary delights and numerous activities for young and old, the day was an unforgettable highlight.
